Man rescued from Warriewood Blowhole

WARRIEWOOD — A 22-year-old man has been rescued from Warriewood Blowhole in Sydney’s North. This is the second incident at the notoriously dangerous spot in two weeks.

The man was moved onto safer ground by a jet ski, and then later airlifted to from the blowhole by an Ambulance of NSW Helicopter.

Dangerous weekend on Sydney beaches

It was a dangerous weekend on Sydney beaches with one man dead and another missing in two separate incidents.

A 23-year-old Toongabbie man who is believed to have jumped into the infamous blowhole at Warriewood Beach was pulled unconscious from the surf at around 10:00am on Saturday morning. He was unable to be revived.
